How To Install Rednotebook 1.14 on Ubuntu 16.04

RedNotebook is a journal app, with calendar support. Among others, it allows the users to add tags, use bold and italic characters, has support for images, spell check features, automatic saving and backup functions, and many others.

The latest version available is RedNotebook 1.14, which has been released recently, coming with changes.
  •     Use new pygtkspellcheck API (lp:1592727).
  •     Fix conversion from old single "Tags" category to new tags format.

Installation instructions:

Add the PPA to your system, update the local repository index and install the rednotebook package:

$ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:rednotebook/stable

$ sudo apt-get update

$ sudo apt-get install rednotebook
Optional, to remove webmin, do:

$ sudo apt-get remove rednotebook
