How to Install LibreOffice 5.4.2.2 on Ubuntu 16.04 & Higher

$ sudo apt-get remove --purge libreoffice* $ sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/libreoffice-5-4 $ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libreoffice

Install via package if PPA is not up to date
