How to install Visual Studio Code 1.14.1 Now Opens Multiple Project In Same Editor

   Visual Studio Code is a lightweight but powerful source code editor which runs on your desktop and is available for Windows, macOS and Linux. It comes with built-in support for JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js and has a rich ecosystem of extensions for other languages (such as C++, C#, Python, PHP, Go) and runtimes (such as .NET and Unity).

Visual Studio Code 1.14.1 release highlights:
  •    The refactoring to convert a JavaScript ES5-style function class to an ES6 class is disabled.

  •     Preview: Multi-root workspaces – Open multiple projects in the same editor (Insiders build).

Installation instructions: 
  Open terminal and insert command line...

$ sudo sh -c 'echo "deb [arch=amd64] stable main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/vscode.list'

$ curl | gpg --dearmor > microsoft.gpg

$ sudo mv microsoft.gpg /etc/apt/trusted.gpg.d/microsoft.gpg

Install via package if PPA is not up to date

32bit OS

$ sudo apt-get install gdebi

$ wget

$ sudo code_1.14.2-1500506872_i386.deb

64bit OS

$ sudo apt-get install gdebi

$ wget

$ sudo code_1.14.2-1500506907_amd64.deb
